ADR Compliance

WintraRacing automotive seats are manufactured to comply with applicable Australian Design Rule (ADR) requirements relevant to seating systems. The seats themselves meet ADR compliance standards when assessed as individual components.

ADR compliance and road legality in New South Wales (NSW) are assessed on a vehicle-specific basis. Compliance of the seat does not constitute or guarantee compliance of the vehicle once installed. Final compliance is dependent on factors including, without limitation, rails and brackets, anchorage points, seatbelt geometry, Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) interaction, vehicle structure, and seating position.

As a result, additional engineering assessment and certification by a licensed automotive engineer may be required to confirm that the vehicle, as modified, complies with ADRs and NSW Transport regulations.

WintraRacing does not warrant or guarantee that installation of its seats will automatically render a vehicle road-legal in NSW without further assessment. Responsibility for compliance, certification, and approval rests with the vehicle owner and/or installer.

WintraRacing accepts no liability for installation methods, vehicle modifications, or regulatory outcomes relating to road registration or use.
